Firefighters extinguished a trailer fire in Hermiston on Thursday afternoon.
At 1:49 p.m., Umatilla County Fire District #1 was dispatched to a report of a trailer fire on Lloyd Road. Battalion Chief 21 arrived on scene to find a one-story, single-family dwelling showing smoke and flames. Engine 21 stretched a hose line and did a primary search to make sure there were no occupants in the trailer.
Crews verified that there was no one in the trailer, extinguished the fire and started to overhaul, putting out hot spots.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
