No injuries were reported Thursday in a shop and trailer fire on N. Townsend Road in Hermiston.
Umatilla County Fire District #1 was dispatched at 2:46 p.m. to a structure fire on N. Townsend Road. Crews arrived on scene to a shop and a camp trailer on fire with flames and heavy smoke showing.
Crews knocked down flames with Engine 22 and called for multiple water tenders. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading. Mutual aid was provided by Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District and Echo Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
