Matt Combe, superintendent of the Morrow County School District, will discuss the potential capital construction bond timeline during the upcoming Heppner Chamber of Commerce meeting.
The no-host luncheon gathering is Thursday, Oct. 10, noon at the Willow Street Innovation Center, 188 W. Willow St., Heppner. The catered meal by Tacos Hometown costs $15.
A Community Bond Advisory Committee was formed earlier this year. The group is comprised of 21 members from Boardman, Heppner, Lexington and Irrigon, who are discussing various options for submitting a capital construction bond to voters in May 2025.
