Leslie Jean Craig passed away on Sept. 26, 2025 at the age of 60 following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on April 18, 1965 in East Ely, Nev. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend whose warm spirit touched many lives.
In 1966, Leslie’s family moved to Washington where she met the love of her life, Dave Craig. The couple married on Aug. 21, 1982 in Othello, Wash. and together they raised two sons, Arron and Spencer. In 1995 the family relocated to the Eastern Oregon area, where Leslie resided until her passing.
Leslie was known for her selflessness, always putting others before herself. Many wonderful things could be said about her, but she will be remembered most for her generosity, exceptional cooking skills, and welcoming nature. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, a place where family and friends gathered, and she cherished every moment of hospitality she shared.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dave Craig; her sons, Arron Craig (Tessa) and Spencer Craig (Whitney); her father, John; her sister, Cheryl; her brother, Travis; many nieces and nephews; and her grandchildren, Valerie, Jeremian, and Elijah.
Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Jean Wickenhagen.
Leslie’s legacy of love, kindness, and culinary joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest in peace.
