Dale Jean Moyer of Umatilla passed away in Hermiston on Nov. 11, 2025 at the age of 49.
She was born on March 1, 1976 in Enterprise to Orville and Lavon Simonis Elliott.
Dale lived in Lostine in her early years and later moved to Central Oregon, where she graduated from Redmond High School. She married Daniel J. Moyer in Redmond in the mid-1990s. The couple divorced two years ago.
Dale moved to Eastern Oregon in 2008 and had lived in the communities of Irrigon and Umatilla since that time. She enjoyed camping and fishing and had a love for Basset Hounds.
She is survived by a son, Tyler and wife Michaelia Elliott; stepsons, Alex Moyer and Kasey Kochis; brothers, Will Elliott and Ottis Elliott; sisters, Floy Rule and Ellen Jarvis; and two grandchildren, Eldon and Jason Elliott.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family burial will be in the Lostine Cemetery next spring.
