Jovita Caldera Betancourt of Hermiston passed away in Hermiston surrounded by her family on Dec. 3, 2025 at the age of 98.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1927 in Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico.
Viewing hours will be held at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025 from 3 to 7 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 6 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.
Burial will follow in the Hermiston Cemetery.
