HERMISTON, Ore-The Hermiston Boys and Girls Basketball Teams both defeated Walla Walla in Mid-Columbia Conference play on December 20.
The Hermiston Girls ran away with a 57-31 win, pushing their record to 5-1 on the young season.
In the second game of the night, the Hermiston Boys also defended home court, beating the Blue Devils 64-63 on a buzzer-beater from Junior Wing, Jose Juarez Rodriguez.
The next home game for the Hermiston Boys and Girls is Tuesday, January 6, against Kennewick, with the girls tipping off at 5:45 p.m. and the boys set for 7:30 p.m.
