Ginamarie Cox passed away on Jan. 26, 2026 in Hermiston.

She was born on March 1, 1958 in Everett, Wash. to Dolan E. Mincher and Wilda I. Watson.

Ginamarie grew up in Salem and spent much of her childhood on the Oregon coast. As an adult she lived in the Portland area, where she had two daughters, Angelina and Amanda. She married her husband, Jack Cox Sr. in 2006 and became a step-mother to his two sons, Jack Cox Jr. and Shawn Cox.

While Ginamarie and Jack lived in the Salem area, they were members of the Silver Creek Fellowship in Silverton, where Ginamarie was baptized. She and Jack were avid members who spent much of their time doing volunteer work on behalf of the fellowship.

She will be remembered as a very loving, caring person who had a fantastic smile. She was a lover of a good book and nice-smelling candle and she loved her cats dearly.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 20 years, Jack Cox Sr.; daughters, Angelina Aguilar and Amanda Smith; step-sons, Jack Cox Jr. and Shawn Cox; her mother, Wilda Watson; brother, Mark Mincher; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dolan E. Mincher.
