HERMISTON, OR – Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) is proud to announce the completion of a major construction project within the Good Shepherd Medical Plaza at 620 NW 11th St, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s continued growth and commitment to expanding access to specialty care across the region.

For many years, portions of the lower and upper levels of the Good Shepherd Medical Plaza remained unfinished until now. These newly completed 11,000-square-foot expansions feature modern, state-of-the-art clinic spaces thoughtfully designed to support patients, providers, and staff while enhancing the overall patient experience.

“This project represents an important investment in the future of healthcare for our growing communities,” said Art Mathisen, GSHCS President & CEO. “These newly completed spaces allow us to continue expanding specialty care services while creating a welcoming, efficient, and state-of-the-art environment for our patients and staff. We are excited to see these areas come to life and begin serving our region.”

Both new areas were designed to mirror the welcoming look and feel of the Good Shepherd Women’s Center on the main floor, creating a more cohesive experience throughout the Medical Plaza. The lower level was designed to primarily support medical specialties, while the upper level will focus on surgical specialties. Beginning this week, several specialty clinics will transition into their new locations within the Medical Plaza.
