William E. “Bill” Wells died on July 14, 2026 at his home in Hermiston at the age of 77.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1949 in Walla Walla, Wash. to Francis Eugene Wells and Urdean Aloise Breding Wells.
Bill served in the United States Army during Vietnam until his honorable discharge when he returned home. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years until he retired.
A private family burial will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Stanfield.
