The city of Hermiston is offering the public a chance to get the inside scoop on its newest public facilities, as well as those in the planning stages.
City officials will host a free bus tour of city facilities from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11.
The tour will include the most significant current and planned public facilities including parks, water, wastewater, police, and library facilities and others.
The tour bus will leave Hermiston City Hall promptly at 8:30 a.m. and return at noon. Space on the bus is limited to 50 people, so pre-registration is required by April 26.
Pre-registrations can be made by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at 667-5018.
