IMESD Employees Earn Certifications

Two InterMountain Education Service District (IMESD) employees recently earned recognition by receiving the Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credential.

Director of Operations Scott Rogers and Director of Procurement Caryn Appler were among 249 professionals from across the country who successfully completed the CPPB examination held in October 2013.

Rogers and Appler, who’ve both been with the IMESD since 2007, are now the only two people in the region known to have earned the CPPB.

“I commend Scott and Caryn for their achievement. They put in a great deal of their own time in obtaining their CPBB, which will increase capacity in this area for our region,” said IMESD Superintendent Dr. Mark Mulvihill.
