The Hermiston Public Library is participating in Ready to Learn, a new program for children up to age 5.
Children who are registered in the free program will have access to a wide variety of books, movies, music, fun activities and educational programs. They will also receive an Oregon College Savings Plan in which small amounts of money will be credited to the child’s account each time he or she checks out a book or participates in one of the library’s programs.
