A Farm Workers & Employers Expo will take place in Hermiston on Thursday, June 26.
The event, presented by the Latino Business Network in Hermiston, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hermiston Conference Center. Speakers will include Fernando Gutierrez, state monitor advocate for the Oregon Employment Department, Manny Medrano with the Oregon Human Development Corp, and others who will share opportunities to help with the cost of training as well as programs to help grow local businesses in the region.
The expo is free and will feature vendors offering services for both employees and employers. Vendor applications are available at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce or on the chamber website.
