He was born on March 20, 1933 in Aitkin, Minn. Don worked for Crown Zellerbach in West Linn for many years until he retired. He moved to Hermiston in the early 2000’s where he has lived since. Don and Betty enjoyed RVing and traveling for over 20 years.
Don is survived by his wife, Betty Riggs, Hermiston; daughter, Lori Pettersen, Richland, Wash.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
