The Hermiston City Council voted Monday night to annex two acres of land near S.W. 10th Street that paves the way for a single-family residential subdivision.
The applicant, Frank Gehring, intends to build the subdivision on the west side of S.W. 10th at the intersection of W. Olive Ave.
The property is within the city’s urban portion of the urban growth boundary and has a low density residential comprehensive plan map designation. The two acres will have a duplex residential zoning designation.
