Libraries of Eastern Oregon will present Bilbo’s Journey by The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company at the Hermiston Public Library on Monday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Traveling Lantern shows are fast-¬paced, funny and interactive, and encourage audience participation. They are appropriate for children in kindergarten through eighth grade and their families.
Bilbo’s Journey is a story of peril, wonder and daring about a home-¬loving little Hobbit who finds himself on an adventure he could never have imagined. On the way he meets elves, trolls, a wizard, and a dragon, and something strange called a Gollum.
Traveling Lantern has been educating and entertaining children nationwide since 1985. Its mission is to bring great stories to children, to draw them into an active theater experience, to excite their minds and to tickle their imaginations.
