The Hermiston School District will host the third annual K-8 College & Career Family Night on Thursday, Feb. 18 at Armand Larive Middle School.
The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. and will include information for both parents and students. It allows students, along with their families, to explore the multitude of options available after high school. Representatives from the community will be on hand to explain various professions and the pathways to achieve those careers. Information will be provided to parents on financial planning, and students can investigate a host of college and university information.
School-wide drawings for books will be held, and a free piggy bank will be given to all students who attend.
