He was born on Jan. 13, 1933 in Walla Walla, Wash., to Milton and Helen French Biegel. Bob married Sheila Stephens on June 5, 1953 in Hermiston. He worked on heavy construction projects throughout the region. They settled in Umatilla in 2000 where they have lived since. Bob enjoyed hunting and traveling.
He is survived by his wife: Sheila Biegel, Umatilla, OR; sons: Stephen Biegel, Dayton, WA, and Robert Biegel, Umatilla, OR; daughter: Cynthia Saenz, Payette, ID; sister: Betty Critchlow, Pendleton, OR; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Ted and Kyle Biegel, and a granddaughter: Roxanne Biegel.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
