A Umatilla woman died Tuesday night in a two-vehicle accident just outside of Hermiston.
According to the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office, a 2005 Chevy Impala driven by Bori Sandoval, 55, Umatilla, was struck on the driver’s side by a 2009 Ford pickup truck driven by 45-year-old Dustin Scott of Hermiston.
The accident occurred at the intersection of South Edwards Road and East Feedville Road.
Also in Sandoval’s car was Raul Frias Enriquez, 58, of Umatilla. Enriquez was seriously injured and was taken to Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in Portland. No information on his condition is available at this time.
Scott suffered non-life threatening injuries. According to the sheriff’s office, Scott said Sandoval’s car went through a stop sign and into the path of his truck.
