Travis Lee Friend died on Nov. 12, 2016 at home in Hermiston at the age of 44.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1972 in Hermiston to Leroy and Lonita “Nita” Wood Friend. Travis was raised and attended schools in Hermiston. He had worked at Lamb Weston, Marlette Homes, and Keystone over the years. Travis enjoyed motorcycles, playing guitar, music, hunting, electronics, and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by his father: Leroy Friend, Hermiston; daughter: Isabelle Friend, Boardman; brother: Brian Friend, Pendleton; sister: Jody Miller, Hermiston; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Travis was preceded in death by his mother, Lonita “Nita” Friend earlier this year.
