The fourth annual Morrow County Harvest Festival is coming to the SAGE Center on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is presented by the Boardman, Heppner, and Irrigon chambers of commerce in conjunction with the SAGE Center and will be held at 101 Olson Road in Boardman.
The Morrow County Harvest Festival will feature a variety of vendors with handcrafted homemade items. Kids Corner will include carnival games, pumpkin painting, obstacle course made of straw bales, and a “kiddie corral”.
Mule-drawn wagon rides will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Beer and wine tasting will be available from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m courtesy of local producers Ordnance Brewing and Sno Road Winery.
New this year, Threemile Canyon Farm’s Fall Harvest Bounty For Youth In Ag event will provide an opportunity for “fill-a-bag” organic onions, organic carrots and traditionally grown potatoes, for a minimum $5 donation. This is a chance to get nutritious, locally grown produce fresh from the Threemile Canyon fields and support area youth with all proceeds going to local 4H and FFA programs.
The activities at Morrow County Harvest Festival are free for the public to participate in thanks to the generous donations from our sponsors. Event sponsors this year include Threemile Canyon Farms, the Kiwanis Club of Boardman, Lamb Weston, Cascade Specialties, and the River Lodge and Grill.

May I come over & sell our cookbooks: “Taste of Heppner & the Surrounding Communities”? 674 recipes, beautiful design for $25.00. Do I need to get a table? These cookbooks are a fund-raiser for our St. Patrick’s Parish Hall Renovation, in Heppner. The hall is used for funerals, AA, Community Counseling Solutions meetings, etc. Is the event INSIDE or out?
I could also be called at: 541-676-9759 in the evenings…
Thank you! -Mary Haguewood (I live in Heppner)
