The InterMountain Education Service District (IMESD) Children’s Rodeo received a generous donation recently from the Let ‘er Buck Room.

Director Mike Ledbetter and Let ‘er Buck Room volunteers donated $2,668 to the rodeo. The donation was from tips received every day, except Thursday, of the 2017 Pendleton Round-Up. Thursday’s proceeds go to a different nonprofit organization.

“Our volunteers are happy to donate all their tips to a great cause,” said Ledbetter.

The Children’s Rodeo thanks Ledbetter and his volunteers for their continued support of the event. The Children’s Rodeo is held the Thursday of Round-Up and provides children with special needs the opportunity to be cowboys and cowgirls in the Round-Up Arena with a variety of rodeo activities. Participants are from the IMESD’s component school districts in Morrow, Umatilla and Union counties.
