The Oregon Department of Transportation will close the Interstate 82 Exit 1 on/off ramps to and from Highway 730 intermittently for pavement work beginning April 23.
The ramps will be closed intermittently between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Only two ramps can be closed at the same time – the I-82 northbound on-ramp and the I-82 southbound off-ramp or the I-82 northbound off-ramp and the I-82 southbound on-ramp.
These closures are necessary for pavement work. ODOT expects the work to be complete by April 27.
When the I-82 on/off ramps are closed, there will be detour signs in place, directing traffic to take the next exit then turn around. Motor carriers can also use authorized alternate routes, such as Highway 395 or Highway 730.
