David L. “Dave” Paasch of Hermiston died on May 2, 2018 in Hermiston at the age of 68.
He was born on March 7, 1950 in Hood River to Carl and Grace Hurd Paasch.
Dave was raised in Hood River, Bingen, Wash., Portland and Zillah, Wash., where he graduated from high school. He lived in various places over the years including Connell, Wash., Yakima, Wash., Wallula, Wash., Stanfield, and in Hermiston for the past 12 years.
Dave worked as a truck driver for several years. He was married to Jo Anne Berryman on April 14, 2006 in Hughson, Calif. He enjoyed camping, going sightseeing, traveling and computers, and he loved his dogs. Dave was a practical joker and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Paasch, Hermiston; son, Richard Paasch, Spokane, Wash.; daughter, Barbara Paasch, Pasco, Wash; stepchildren, Valerie Welsh, St. Charles, Mo., Sue Anne Reed and Elizabeth Pritts, both of Clarksville, Tenn., and Christopher Reed, Modesto, Calif; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Paasch.
