A Pendleton man died early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle rollover accident on State Highway 11.
Just before 3:30 a.m., Oregon State Police troopers and emergency personnel responded to the crash at milepost 1.7. According to the OSP, Leodoro Ruval Caba, 50, of Pendleton, was operating a Chevy SUV southbound when it veered off the road and struck a pole, causing the vehicle to roll several times.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
OSP was assisted by the Pendleton Fire Department, the Milton-Freewater Police Department and Oregon Department of Transportation.
