On Tuesday, Aug. 6, thousands of communities across all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide will take part in the 36th annual National Night Out, a community-building campaign that brings neighbors and law enforcement together.
In the spirit of the program, the Hermiston Police Department has hidden a golden medallion somewhere in Hermiston that will entitle the lucky discoverer to a department-hosted neighborhood block party.
