The Boardman Chamber of Commerce is seeking to fill three board of directors positions for the term starting December 2019.
Serving on the Board of Directors is an opportunity to meet new people, network with new businesses, expand leadership skills, and be part of the progress happening in Boardman every day.
Nominees are elected to the board by a majority vote from all members of the chamber in November. Once elected, board members serve a three-year term.
Board members are required to attend monthly board meetings that always occur on the second Wednesday of the month. All board members are encouraged to attend. In addition, board members are asked to serve on at least one chamber committee and volunteer at a minimum of three events per year.
For the chamber’s voter’s ballot, nominees are asked to provide a short paragraph about themselves and their interest in serving on the board. Paragraphs can be sent directly to the Boardman Chamber of Commerce.
