Umatilla Electric will be conducting a wire-pulling operation over Highway 730 and Interstate 84 at the intersection of I-84 and Highway 730 (I-84 Exit 168) on Wednesday, Feb. 26, beginning about 8 a.m., wind and weather permitting.
The location is east of Boardman and adjacent to the Port of Morrow.
This operation, to upgrade the cooperative’s electric infrastructure, will take several hours to complete. The work will require rolling slowdowns along I-84 while taking place and may impact traffic as far as Pendleton through Arlington. Please plan your commute accordingly and use alternate routes if possible.
