Hermiston School District student registration for the 2020-2021 school year is now open online.

Students returning to Hermiston schools next fall will receive a letter in the mail, which includes a snapcode specific to the student. Utilizing the snapcode, parents can log in to the student’s account by visiting the district’s website to update physical/mailing address, emergency contact information, etc.

Kindergarten and new students need to visit the web site above to begin the registration process. Families are asked to bring the following verification information to the building in August:

  • Record of the student’s birth (i.e. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport)
  • Proof of residence/physical address
  • Immunization records
  • Any previous report cards or transcripts to complete the process

Incoming kindergarten students must be five years of age by September 1, 2020, or born on or before September 1, 2015. If there are legal documents (e.g. custody) for the student, the parent/guardian should provide a copy to the school.

The online registration portal allows families to inform the district if they intend to request a student transfer. If parents or guardians wish for a student to attend a school other than their boundary school, an intra-district transfer form, which is available on the district web site or from a school office, must be submitted to the district. Families who appreciated the online, distance learning opportunity, may select Hermiston Online! within the school drop-down list for a comprehensive and robust online program.

When registering a middle or high school student, fees may be paid online or on-site at the building in August with a credit card, check, or cash.

Families may also pay lunch fees and apply or renew free or reduced-price meal services during the registration process. Families receiving meal services last school year must renew their application every year, before the end of September, to prevent a disruption of service. Go online to access the application. For information about free or reduced-price meals, families may call 541-667-6000.
