Pacific Cold Front Expected to Cause 2-4 Inches of Snow to Fall Today

A winter weather advisory has been issued for the region and the National Weather Service is forecasting as much as four inches of snow to fall today.

Heavy snow is expected through Friday across much of Eastern Oregon and South Central Washington. A Pacific front will lift north and is expected to stall over the region today producing two to four inches of snow.

Temperatures will dip into the mid-teens tonight with a wind chill factor in the single digits. More snow is likely on Saturday.

Motorists are cautioned to expect slippery road conditions and winds may cause blowing and drifting snow.
