“Staffing in the Digital Economy,” a free virtual forum with local panelists will take place on Feb. 24.
The event is presented by the 7X24 Exchange Oregon & SW Washington, which specializes in data centers. It goes from 4 to 5:30 p.m., and will cover workforce development in the digital economy as well as tell the story of how the industry, education and economic development came together to develop a training program.
Panelists include Mike Berman of Amazon Web Services, Peter Hernberg of Blue Mountain Community College, and Lisa Mittelsdorf of the Port of Morrow.
