Chart-topping country star Kip Moore will bring his troubadour lifestyle and timeless sound to the Happy Canyon Arena on Saturday, Sept. 10, for the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon kick-off concert.
Tickets go on sale May 23.
Moore dropped his fourth studio album, Wild World, in 2021, a collection written as he traveled the globe.
“Music is the one thing where I really try to unveil where I’m at mentally, where my soul is,” Moore says. “As you get older, you start thinking about bigger concepts and where you fit in the grand scheme of this whole thing, and I’ve always tried to live my life simple. But the more I’ve lived, the more I understand that all this stuff we crave and seek, I see how much of life is smoke and mirrors. When I strip it down to the bare essentials, that’s when I’m the most happy.”
Happy Canyon President Kenzie Hansell said everyone is looking forward to kicking off the week with Moore’s performance.
“He’ll bring entertainment for all generations to enjoy in the Happy Canyon Arena,” said Hansell.
Round-Up President Karl Farber agreed. “Kip Moore has a great following, and we’re excited to have him kick off Round-Up week in Pendleton,” Farber said.
An opening act will be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the concert, presented by Integrity Corps., go on sale Monday, May 23, at 10 a.m. To reserve tickets, visit www.pendletonroundup.com.
