CBMS First School in Oregon to Compete in ArcGIS State Competition

Clara Brownell Middle School made state last month when it became the first Oregon school to participate in the ArcGIS mapping competition.

Clara Brownell students had five projects that made to the finals for the state of Oregon.

The ArcGIS competition is an online competition where students research a topic and use Geographic Information Systems to present data and tell a story. Students were able to compete in teams of one or two students.
