Irrigon’s annual Watermelon Festival is happening on Saturday, July 30 at Irrigon Marina Park.
The all-day event kicks off with breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., hosted by Columbia View Church. Then the downtown parade starts at 10 a.m.
The day’s festivities include lots of kids’ activities; plenty of food; a car show in the park; live entertainment from Zac Grooms, Olivia Harms and The Sky Dogs, followed by a street dance; and a beer garden from 4 to 8:30 p.m.
