Oregonians in 25 counties – including Umatilla and Morrow – will be able to pump their own gas at stations through Sunday, according to the Oregon State Fire Marshal.
With the dangerous heat, this order will help protect gas station workers while keeping stations open for drivers.
The emergency order is for Umatilla County, Morrow County and the following 23 counties: Columbia, Clackamas, Crook, Curry, Deschutes, Douglas, Gilliam, Grant, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Sherman, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, Washington, Wheeler.
