Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (AOSM) has joined the Good Shepherd Medical Group (GSMG), a part of Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS).
This merger is the result of several months planning between orthopedic surgeon Jeremy Anderson, D.O. and GSHCS Vice President of GSMG Troy LeGore.
“Health care is changing,” said Anderson. “There are more regulations and more demands being placed on independent physician practices. Insurance plans can be a challenge to work with, and we struggle to meet their requirements and still stay competitive. Value has become as important as quality care in consumers’ minds and rightly so. LeGore said the merger will benefit those seeking care at Advanced Orthopedics.
