UMATILLA COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT 1 PHOTO
A house fire on E. Cherry Avene destroyed the structure, but no one was injured in the blaze.
The fire took place around 10 p.m. on Thursday and left everyone in the house homeless.
Umatilla County Fire District 1 put the residents up in a hotel for the night and a Hermiston Police Department sergeant spent $100 of his own money to buy new clothes for the children
Hermiston Police Chief Jason Edmiston said the structure is a complete loss.
