Alberto L. “Al” Colmenero made his last delivery on Dec. 20, 2024.
Al was born on June 14, 1941 to the late Ursino Colmenero and Francisca Lison in Mesilla, N.M.
Al was a person who loved hard and was a jokester. From accidentally eating dog treats to his saying, “It will make a turd,” Al knew how to have fun.
His loving children and children-in-law survive him: Albert and Lupita Colmenero, Kathy Colmenero, Daniel and Kimberly Colmenero, Stella and Richard Lopez, John and Julie Colmenero, Jamie Guerra, Lisa and Mike Blais, John and Donna Messersmith, and Mark Messersmith. His 36 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren will miss him.
We will miss you as you get into your truck to deliver your last hay haul while avoiding lot lizards.
A family celebration will be held.
