She was born on May 28, 1996 in Watertown, New York. Alexxyss was raised in Idaho and then in Hermiston, Oregon. She attended the Hermiston Christian Center through junior high and high school, until her senior year. Alexxyss graduated from Kennewick High School in the class of 2014. She performed in dance recitals in Hermiston, competed in swimming with HHS, and was a summer lifeguard at the city pool.. Alexxyss was currently working as an in home care giver. She enjoyed fishing, 4-H competitive shooting, volunteering at various community and school activities, and was a very talented writer (essays and poems). Alexxyss loved her sister Ashlynn very much and they had a special bond.
She is survived by her mother: Shannon Gilman, Richland, WA; father: Tobby Therwhanger, Lubbock, TX; sister: Ashlynn Therwhanger, Hayden Lake, ID; grandparents: Rick & Darcy Moulton, Hermiston, OR, Tami Theriot, Reno, NV, Alfred & Rojean Therwhanger, Seminole, TX; great grandparents: Barbara Burns, Eugene, OR & Lana Edmiston, Umatilla, OR; Uncles: Travis Moulton & Garrett Theriot; numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Alexxyss was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ron Moulton, John Edmiston, Norma & Max Parsons, Ed & Louise Rupple, and Laverda & Norm Moulton.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at noon at the Hermiston Christian Center, 1825 W. Highland Ave.
A private family burial will be held later.
