Parents of children with developmental disabilities are invited to attend Alternatives to Guardianship, an interactive online training event set for today, June 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event, hosted by Creating Opportunities, will teach parents how to support their child into adult life. Attendees will learn about limitations of guardianship, other options and how to foster their child’s self-direction. For more information and to register, go online.
