Altrusa International of Hermiston is now accepting spring term applications for the Dorothy Juve Memorial Educational Scholarship.
Scholarships between $300 and $1,500 will be given out to assist students in the completion of their post-high school studies or training in order to care for the families and themselves.
Applicants must have completed at least two-thirds of their post-high school education and must be residents of western Umatilla County or North Morrow County, but may be studying elsewhere.
Applications are available on the Hermiston Altrusa website, as well as the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce and Blue Mountain Community College.
