Do you know a young person under the age of 21 that has willingly taken on responsibilities of helping others? Altrusa International of Hermiston will be honoring an “Outstanding Young Citizen” at the 47th Annual Distinguished Citizens Awards Banquet held at the Hermiston Conference Center on Feb. 1.
Altrusa is looking for someone that demonstrates commitment, personal responsibility, positive attitude, leadership and a caring attitude toward others.
Nomination forms can be obtained at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce or by email at hermistonaltrusa@gmail.com. They can also be found online.
Nomination forms must be accompanied with a letter explaining in detail the achievements, activities and/or other information that make this individual a good candidate. Nomination forms and letters must be postmarked or emailed no later than Jan. 20.
