M. “Annie” Blain Parke of Hermiston died on Aug. 23, 2016 in Hermiston at the age of 75.
She was born on May 22, 1941 in Wilbur, Wash., to Otto Clinton and Margret Mae Novotne Mustard. Annie was raised and attended school in Lincoln, Washington. She lived in Eastern Washington until 1979 when she moved to Hermiston where she has lived since. Annie raised animals as well as operating WesCo Trucking for several years. She married Martin Parke on June 22, 2002 in Hermiston. Annie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bingo, cooking, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband: Martin Parke, Hermiston, OR; daughters: Margaret Ferguson, Joyce Erfurth, & Elizabeth Samms; step children: Norma Smith, Elizabeth Parke, & James Parke; sisters: Ruby, Ethel, Barbara, Aggie, & Donna; son: Danny Erfurth; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, sons: William F. Erfurth & Donald W. Blain; and siblings: Jimmy, Beulah, Mary Jane, and Bertha.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1035 SE 9th St., Hermiston.
