The dogs begged for it and now they’ll have their day.
The second annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at West Park at McNary Lock and Dam.
Put on by the Umatilla Chamber of Commerce, the event will include prizes for the scariest costume, most original costume, best costume and best trick. It’s sure to be a lot of fun!
Tickets are $5 and are available at the event or at the chamber office, 100 Cline Ave. Limit three dogs per family, and leashed dogs only.
Those planning to take part are encouraged to register online.
