The Hermiston Farm Fair returns Dec. 4 and 5.
The fair is the product of the partnership between the Hermiston Agricultural Research and Extension Center of Oregon State University, the Hermiston Herald, and the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center.
According to an announcement from HAREC, the Farm Fair will feature more than 50 presentations on potatoes, vegetables, general agriculture, best management practices and cereals. HAREC scientists are finalizing the agenda, which will be available in early November. Pesticide recertification credits will be offered for Oregon, Idaho and Washington, along with certified crop adviser credits.
Vendor set up is Dec. 3, noon to 5 p.m., Doors opens at 7 a.m. Dec. 4 and 5 for registration. The trade show and seminars begin at 8 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. The complimentary potato bar lunch in noon to 1 p.m.
