The Arc of Umatilla County will host the first annual Intellectual Disability Awareness Walk this Saturday, June 22. Proceeds will benefit the Arc of Umatilla County’s Summer Recreation and Inclusion Program.
The registration fee is $20. Pre-registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Arc building, 215 W. Orchard Ave. in Hermiston, and the walk, totaling less than one mile, begins at 10 a.m. There will be a hotdog luncheon at the conclusion.
Those who are unable to participate in the walk but would like to give a donation can visit the Arc donation site.
