She was born on Sept. 13, 1921 in Stockport, Iowa to Chester and Pearl Brown Dorothy. She came to Oregon in 1936. Ardythe graduated from East Mill Plain High School in Camas, Wash., in 1940. She moved to Hermiston on June 1, 1964. Her husband of 37 years, Buck Scott, preceded her in death in June of 1986. She married Donald Figg on Oct. 27, 1990. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2005. Ardythe was a member of the United Methodist Church for 42 years and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and many other crafts. Ardythe cherished the time with her family, and loved spending the time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Lois Wilson and husband Rick, Hermiston, Frances Martinez, Tempe, Ariz., and Darlene Rising and husband Bob, King City; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Ardythe was preceded in death by her parents; and her two husbands.
A private family burial will be held at the Hermiston Cemetery.
