More than 200 students in grades 8-12 will participate in the InterMountain Education Service District Student Tech Expo on Wednesday, March 14 at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande.

The registered students are from the InterMountain Education Service District’s component school districts.

After a group welcome, students will attend seven sessions throughout the day that may include 3D animation, 3D printing, taking apart and diagnosing computer component issues, website development, computer programming, cyber security and more.

“Tech Expo is a great opportunity for students from across eastern Oregon to learn about technology options for careers right here in our region, plus be engaged with interactive sessions on a variety of subjects,” said Michele Madril, IMESD director of communication and print solutions.
