Desert Arts Council is looking for 40 children age 8 to 14 to open this year’s Dancing with Your Hermiston Stars on Jan. 10.
Children will spend an hour per day for one week learning the opening swing dance number. They will be trained by professional dancers from the Utah Ballroom Dance Company. Rehearsals will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 5-9 at the Hermiston High School auditorium.
Children will be selected on first-come, first-served basis. More information is available online.
